We have some exciting news to share with you in case you missed the Happy New Year email. Sandy Bally our Treasurer and I have pulled paperwork to run in the 2026 election. I have pulled paperwork to run against State Representative Melanie Miller, District 67 which is Ashland and Medina counties and Sandy Bally has pulled paperwork to run for Ashland County Commissioner against Denny Bittle.

With that being said we have Petition signing available for the below candidates.
  • Chair, Heather Sample – Candidate for State Representative, District 67.
  • Treasurer, Sandy Bally – Candidate for Ashland County Commissioner.
  • Keith Mundy – Candidate for Congress - OH-7.
  • Sherrod Brown - Candidate for Senate.
This is a huge battle as we are up against Republicans and we all know that our county is very red. We hope that you will support all candidates by signing petitions to allow them to be put on the ballot for the 2026 primary election.

Please reach out to me or Sandy to sign petitions. I have my petition, along with petitions for Keith Mundy, and Sherrod Brown for signing and Sandy has her petition for signing.  If you would like to help either myself or Sandy in our campaign, please let us know as we will take all the help and support we can get. We know this is a very big battle to try and win, however we are both up for the challenge and hope you will support us.

Please contact us as soon as possible as we are all required to get a certain amount of signatures on our petitions prior to filing on February 4th.You can reach me at 407-687-2365 or Sandy on her cell at 937-313-2421. Again, we look forward to seeing each and every one of you in this new year and we hope that you will support us in our endeavor.

 Important Petition Guidelines
  • There is only one petition for Sherrod Brown.
  • There is 1 other petition for Keith Mundy, if someone would like to take that one around.
  • Heather Sample and Sandy Bally may have more than 1 if you are interested in helping them collect their needed signatures.
  • The person circulating the petition must sign to certify that they have witnessed each individual signing the petition.
  • Petitions can be signed by a Democrat or an Independent, but NOT a Republican.
  • All Petitions are due back by 4pm on February 4, 2026, however we would all like to have our petitions in well before that date.
  • As always if you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for your support! Heather Sample, Chair.

I am writing on behalf of the John Kulewicz campaign to share that we have launched our social media for 2026! We are excited to share John's vision for the AG's office and all of our travels around the state through the next 11 months. To do that, we are humbly asking for your help.

The best way to take on the algorithms is to build early momentum. If more accounts interact with posts quickly after they're posted, the social media companies bump the posts out to more people. Liking, sharing, sharing to stories, and bookmarking all count as engagement--which is what the algorithm feeds on.

So with our deepest gratitude, we kindly ask that you follow the campaign and share today's content to help us reach as many people as possible. Often, new people on the fringes of the party connect with us and get more involved. When the time comes, we are happy to make those connections with you as well.
